Media sources said that the young Palestinian man stabbed an occupation Border Guard with a knife and seriously injured him on Nablus Street when an Israeli police officer shot him dead.
Officers denied the young man, identified as Adam Abu Al-Hawa, 18, from At-Tur town, any medical intervention, which caused him to bleed to death.
Later, on Monday evening, occupation forces stormed the town of At-Tur town, in occupied Jerusalem and surrounded his family home, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.
Soldiers closed off the area around the home and fired barrages of tear gas canisters at unarmed civilians, and fired flares in the sky.
